Don was predeceased by his younger brother, Emile and his nephew, Bryan. He is also survived by his nine sisters, Josephine Vandenburghe, New Brunswick Elizabeth (Noel Parsons) Deepdale Florence McQuaid, Truro Connie (Paul Black) Amherst Becky (Paul Ohrt) Ottawa Rose Vandenberg, Ottawa Vangie (Philippe Babin), Antigonish Avita Vandenberg (Rob Woodward) Deepdale and Shirley Vandenbergh, Oakville and numerous nieces and nephews. Don is survived by his two daughters, Dana (and granddaughter Daisy) and Dharma, both of Owen Sound, Ontario. He was a son of the late Lucy (Cormier) and Desire J. John was born on September 27th, 1955, and was a son of the late Donald and Theresa (MacDonald) MacLean. John Elmer MacLean, age 66, of Port Hood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15th, 2022, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. ![]()
